About Me

I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the Database Lab, School of Computing, National University of Singapore, with the supervision of Professor Tan Kian-Lee. I obtained my bachelor degree in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2014. I am currently interested in Dynamic Graph Management and Analytics on Parallel Processors, especially for GPU accelerators.

Experiences

Research Assistant - Database Lab SoC@NUS, Singapore (2016 - 2017)

Our team was interested in dynamic graph analytics on various applications and was exploring to utilize different hardware hierarchies, e.g., GPU Accelerators and their combined architecture, to achieve higher efficiency.

Project Officer - Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Lab, Singapore (2015 - 2016)

I took part in the research project focusing on the automatic vortex extraction and tracking in CFD data, which is an essential tool for the aerodynamic design of Rolls-Royce’s jet engine.

Algorithm Engineer - Alibaba, Beijing (2014 - 2015)

I was responsible for the backend of the business logic layer of internet advertisement delivery engine, which was mainly related to online user profiling and targeted advertisement indexing, retrieving and recalling.

Software Engineering Intern - Google, Shanghai (2013)

Our team was in charge of developing the backend transaction logic management of the Demand Side Platform, and my main contribution during the internship was the RetryAction module.
